I have known Peter for over 20 years and as a friend and colleague through Nortel, Sibson and Axiom. There was no one better! He was the best public speaker that I met in my professional life and the degree of audience response that he was able to elicit was always awe insiring. Peter always had a youthful enthusiasm for new ideas and his excitement was palpable. He was ingenious when it came to solving complex business problems and the maistream ideas of corporations today, such as skill based pay and broad banding were given birth in his fertile mind. He added to our profession in a profound way. My lasting image of Peter will always be him arriving at our firm meeting in Chicago all dressed in his Carolina Hurricanes jersey carrying a miniature Stanley Cup...for Peter that seemed to be complete joy. I will miss his warmth and generosity of being, but most of all I will miss his hugs...adieu good friend Michael McInerney , Toronto
